The lesson I’ve been learning lately

Hello lovey,

So you know I’m constantly doing my own self work right alongside y’all.

How can I ask y’all to keep growing if I’m not doing it too? 

For years, YEARS, I’ve gotten the message to surrender

Ugggggghhhhhh….

SURRENDER?!?!?!

But, *stomps in bratty teenage angst*... like, WHYYYY?

I’d much rather try and control everything, thankyouverymuch. 

But the message just keeps on coming at me.

surrender surrender surrender… 

But here’s the lesson I’m finally (finally!) getting about surrendering.

It’s not what I thought it was…

To me surrender means giving up.

Like a big cosmic capture the flag game where I lose.

(GAH! I don’t like losing…)

But no… 

Surrendering is the OPPOSITE of giving up.

Surrendering is TRUSTING the UNIVERSE to GUIDE YOUR LIFE.

Whaaaaaa! 

*I know!* 

I was shocked too!

So, I started trying it. 

Since I’m clairaudient, I started tuning into spirit as the divine gps of my life.

(Aren’t I SO BRAVE?!)

And *whispers in disbelief*... it’s working… 

I feel so calm, so self-assured and so much more directed.

I’m not so worried about timing or doing things right or wrong, because I know I’m being divinely guided.

Now, this is a NEW THING for me, but it feels a little bit like learning to ride a bike…

There’s that point when you’re pedaling and balanced and you’re moving forward! 

You’re trusting that you can do it… 

I’m trusting that the Universe has me. 

I’m trusting that there is a divine order.

I’m trusting that I’m not going to fall.

I’m actually surrendering and it feels wild and exciting and grounded and calm.

So, what about you?
