Permission to be (very) intuitive
May 30, 2024Hello lovebug,
Did you know that more and more people are realizing their intuitive abilities?
Mmhm!
I feel like nearly every person I meet these days is opening up to psychic abilities, having a spiritual awakening, noticing that their intuition is getting stronger and stronger AND they are feeling less timid to admit that to themselves and others.
It’s an incredible time to be alive and to witness all of this ascension energy.
You know what else I see amongst my clients?
A general unwillingness to allow that part of them to really shine.
A friend and client of mine has been opening up to her intuition more and more since I met her a couple of years ago.
She knew she was HIGHLY intuitive, but it’s been fascinating to watch this mini bouts of amnesia between her intuitive revelations.
Let me explain (and I think you’ll be able to relate here).
When you’re starting to open up to your intuitive abilities, things will happen that will make you go “WHOA! I KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!”
It’s such a thrilling time because OMG. Your intuition is SPOT ON.
And then life continues… the excitement drops into the background because you’ve got to pick the kids up from school or pay the bills or clean up the dishes.
And then maybe a few weeks later, bam! You realize (after the fact this time) that you KNEW that person you met couldn’t be trusted.
You knew it!
“I’ve really gotta trust my intuition more,” you say to yourself.
Because you DO know. You just forget that you know.
Fast forward a few more weeks, you have an inkling to call a friend who you haven’t talked to in months, but it’s an inkling and not a demand so you ignore it and it passes.
The next day she texts and tells you that she’s going to be in town tomorrow and could you get together.
“Gah! I had a feeling I should call her!”
Intuition can be so soft… so gentle… so quiet—especially when you’re still developing the trust with yourself to OWN your intuition—that you can miss it.
Again and again and again.
And again.
One of the things you can do is to start to OWN the identity that you are highly intuitive.
When you start thinking of yourself as an intuitive person, you will be less likely to shrug off those notions that float into your mind and nudge you to do things.
In fact, I’m sure you may have read my emails MANY times over and had the nudge to reach out for a reading because your intuition told you to… but you didn’t.
Let me tell you this: the more you lean into the identity of being intuitive, the more you will pay attention to what those little nudges are encouraging you to do.
If you need permission, here is your eternal hall pass.
You are FREE to really trust your intuition, to lean into it, to pay attention to your prophetic dreams, to trust your gut more and to explore some untapped abilities (even if they scare you a little).
And if you need support, I’d love to be there for you.
The best way to see what kind of abilities you might have is to do a reading with me.
I’d be more than happy to chat with you about your next steps on your spiritual journey.
