How to get your life on track (Part Two)
Dec 16, 2024Hiya lovey,
Last week we started talking about how asking yourself this one question—What would be in integrity for me in this situation?—can help you get your life on track.
Now let’s go a bit deeper.
What if you ask yourself that question and you find yourself saying, “Uh… I don’t know.”
Okay… don’t freak out. I’m actually so glad this happened because it will be so revealing.
When anyone says I don’t know, to me, it translates to mean one of a few things:
- I don’t know because I don’t have enough information.
- I don’t know because I’m not ready to admit the truth to myself yet. (OR- I know, but I’m scared.)
- I don’t know because I’m not ready to admit the truth to the person who’s asking the question. (OR- I know, but the truth feels too vulnerable right now.)
- I don’t know because it feels too hard to do whatever that thing is (OR- I know, but I’m at a loss on how to make it work).
- I don’t know because I can only see the first step and I’m confused on the rest of the steps so therefore I’m saying I don’t know.
As you can see, there’s usually a lot to unpack with that phrase.
The number of times people come to me for a session and the person getting the reading says,
“I don’t know what to do about X…”
And I then calmly hear spirit say, “Nope. They know exactly what they want to do.”
When I tell them what I’m hearing, the client says, “Well…. yeah. Okay. I do know.”
So! You say I don’t know and there’s some kind of caveat confusing things for you (reference the above list), what do you do then?
Here’s what I would like you to avoid: The dreaded Pro/Con list.
Please. For the love of all things holy, try not to do this.
You will run yourself into the ground with that exercise.
Because here’s the thing:
Even with all the pros and cons staring you in the face, you will probably still be confused and not be able to make a clear decision.
You will still go back and forth.
(I see it all the time.)
The most powerful way to make a decision is to use your intuition and ask about what would be in integrity for you.
You already know what’s right. You do.
It may be uncomfortable, scary, confusing, or a helluva lot of work, but it’s RIGHT.
The intuitive choice that’s in integrity may require you to grow…
It may require you to disappoint some people…
It may require hard conversations…
It may require you to hold firm to what you believe when no one else gets it…
It may require you to go against convention…
It may require you to dig deep and be brave…
It will very often require risk…
But when you are tuned in intuitively to what would make you feel the most whole, the end result will be SO worth it.
You will feel alive and relieved to be more on path and so deeply connected to your soul.
Next week we’ll talk a bit more about the next layer of getting your life on track.
In the meantime, jump on over and join us in the Spiritual Playground Facebook group. I give mini-trainings every Wednesday (that you can watch live or later).
In fact, last week I taught about heart-walls (FASCINATING stuff) and how much easier it is to be in integrity and to trust your intuition when your heart-wall is cleared.
Click here to join us in the group.
You know what you want. I promise you. We’re going to talk about the next step next week.
See you then for part three.
