How do I begin to connect with Spirit?

Apr 25, 2024

LOVEBUG!

We have such an EXCITING topic to talk about today and it’s one of the most commonly asked questions I get..

How does a person begin to connect with spirit?

Now, people want to connect with spirit for all kinds of reasons. Let’s see if you fall into one of these categories:

  • You’ve been having some odd things happening to you and you want to know more about what (the heck) has been going on.
  • You’ve lost an important loved one and you want to see if you can connect with that person.
  • You’ve been getting more and more intuitive hits to see if maybe you’re psychic and/or a medium.
  • You’ve been having prophetic dreams.
  • You’ve always been intuitive, but pushed it away until now. You’re ready to start learning again.
  • You have a sense that you were a witch in a past life and you’re ready to reclaim your power around that identity.
  • Your intuition is SPOT ON a lot of the time and you really want to take your existing skills further.
  • You want to heal some of your old religious conditioning around working with spirit and you want to see how incredible working with spirit can be.
  • You feel very strongly that you have a calling to explore this work.

If you don’t fall into one of those categories, that’s okay! Read on. You may be interested to explore it yourself anyway.

Now here’s the thing when it comes to connecting with spirit.

We think that there’s a major EVENT that happens and then bam! You can see spirits or hear voices or know things.

And very occasionally, that can be true.

Sometimes people have a near-death experience or a spiritual awakening that cracks them wide open and they begin to have experiences with spirit.

But more often than not, it’s an unfolding

Even if you have a spiritual awakening (or different levels of a spiritual awakening), you will continue to unfold more and more as you walk your path.

The much more common way for folks to start connecting with spirit is a gradual building of trust over time.

Trust in the intuitive information you’re receiving.

Trust that’s built between you and your team of the highest light.

Trust with yourself to keep showing up and doing the work to build that connection.

Trust in the process of your growth.

And faith that you are on the path even when you feel like the information isn’t coming through.

The number one way to build that trust and that connection?

Meditation.

Daily meditation.

Now, before you groan because meditation isn’t your thing or is so hard or is something you feel like you should be doing (but you’re not), let’s just take a deep breath here.

This is not an opportunity to shame yourself, sweet one.

For starters, shame doesn’t feel good and it has a super low frequency (the lowest vibration of all emotions), so let’s just have some gentle self compassion instead.

Mmmkay?

Now, I find that people don’t meditate because they end up meditating once or twice and feeling like…

  • I can’t make my mind go quiet (I think I’m doing it wrong)
  • I always fall asleep (so I don’t do it)
  • Uch. Nothing happennnnns so I feel like I’m not doing it right (so I stop)
  • I want to meditate, but I literally can’t get myself to do it (halp!)

I see you babe.

Good news!

You just need support and some guidance.

It also REALLY helps to meditate in community with at least ONE person who is a seasoned meditator and at least ONE person who has developed a strong connection to spirit.

Tapping into that energy is a total game changer.

What’s happening when you meditate daily is you’re building your receptivity.

When you show up to connect with spirit daily, you train your brain to be tuned in to the information that’s already coming through.

When you sit in silence, you will find yourself having more spontaneous downloads, more clarity about your next steps and yes, you will find yourself (with time) having even more wild spiritual occurrences happen.

Also, as an added benefit, you will see your focus, clarity and confidence improve with your daily work—and that’s whether you’re self-employed or not.

It all dovetails so nicely together.

In the next few weeks I’ll be launching my Spiritual Meditation for Beginners class.

It’s the perfect way to either start down your spiritual path or continue on it but with more guidance and fortitude and accountability.

Would you like to be on the early bird list, get 10% off when you sign up and be sure to get a spot in the class?

I LOVE teaching people how to meditate in a way that actually works for their spiritual growth and awakening.

You’ll love it too. (Seriously! People actually start loving meditation after they learn my method.)

Be sure to get on the list here so you can be one of the first folks to sign up when the class goes live.

Until then my sweet,
