Diva is the female version of a hustler…

I am listening to this song (Diva) as I write to you today. 

I most DEFINITELY have Beyoncé on my motivation soundtrack playlist (of course… Cozy is another track that elevates me to a higher level of my self). 

Which brings me to today’s question: how are you energetically showing up in your business? 

Are you embodying your next level? 

Have you ever hung out with a group of focused women who are really hustling? 

Talk about an epic energetic sensation.

You can FEEL the room buzzing with their energy.

You can get so caught up in the speed at which their fingers are flying across the laptop keyboards.

You can see the fire in everyone’s eyes. 

They are not going to be distracted.

They are freaking FOCUSED and going after what. they. want. 

I love being around groups of women like this. 

Why? 

Because it’s contagious. 

I know I talk about energy a lot when I write to you because energy is such a crucial part of business success. 

In order to make next level money, make next level impact and be seen on a bigger scale, you have to step into that next level of yourself. 

She already exists, btw. 

She’s just waiting for you to embody her. 

Now before you say, “Ugh… that sounds like a lot of work.” 

Reframe that in your mind to say that making that change is an upgrade. 

Showing up as your next level self can FEEL so much better. 

That version has a lot of the answers you can’t see yet.

She has next level confidence in a way your current level self doesn’t. 

She has drive at a fresh level too. 

And she experiences success at a higher level too. 

There are a few ways to embody your next level self:

Hang out with people who are excelling in ways you aren’t yet. Maybe they’re really strong on Instagram or at making more money than you (preferably both). 

Hang out with people who believe in you and SEE YOU at your next level (like a really good 1:1 coach for example)

Use the energetic template of someone who you admire. You can show up as a coach or an influencer or a pop star or a certain former first lady (Michelle Obama anyone?) who you love and ask yourself, “What would this person do in this situation?” 

You can give yourself an alter ego. Give her a name. Beyoncé has Sasha Fierce. One of my clients created an alter ego for herself and it’s been wild to see what her alter ego is simply not afraid of when it comes to putting herself out there. It’s pretty cool. 

When you start to energetically embody your next level self, it feels more normal to take risks at a new level (it’s a new you).
